Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plumbing services by efficiently coordinating the schedules of our technicians and responding promptly to customer inquiries and service requests.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule Coordination: Efficiently schedule and dispatch plumbing technicians to service calls, ensuring prompt response to customer requests.
• Customer Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, answering inquiries, providing information about services, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
• Route Optimization: Plan and optimize technician routes to minimize travel time and maximize efficiency.
• Emergency Response: Coordinate emergency response efforts, prioritizing urgent service requests and dispatching technicians accordingly.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service calls, technician schedules, and customer interactions in our database.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor service delivery to ensure quality standards are met and take appropriate action to address any deviations.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with plumbing technicians and other team members to ensure seamless communication and workflow coordination.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of more efficient dispatching procedures.

Qualifications:

• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with customers and coordinating with technicians.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Capable of quickly assessing situations and making sound decisions to resolve issues and optimize resource utilization.
• Customer Service Orientation: A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and building positive customer relationships.
• Technical Aptitude: Basic knowledge of plumbing systems and terminology is preferred but not required.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
• Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with computer software and scheduling systems is advantageous.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a dispatching or customer service role is preferred.
• Experience in the plumbing industry is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $17.00 - $24.80 per hour
