Hospice RN Visit Nurse Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to understand patients' needs and develop tailored care plans that prioritize their comfort and well-being.
• Symptom Management: Skillfully manage pain and symptoms, providing relief and enhancing quality of life for hospice patients.
• Emotional Support: Offer compassionate emotional support to patients and their families, creating a safe space for open conversations and shared feelings.
• Education: Provide valuable information to patients and families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care and end-of-life choices.
• Collaborative Care: Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic care that addresses all aspects of patients' needs.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with hospice regulations.
• Family Liaison: Serve as a bridge between patients, families, and the healthcare team, fostering understanding and unity throughout the hospice journey.

Hospice RN Visit Nurse Qualifications:

• RN Licensure: Active registered nurse license, demonstrating proficiency and adherence to nursing standards.
• End-of-Life Expertise: Deep understanding of end-of-life care principles and practices, with a commitment to providing comfort and dignity.
• Compassionate Approach: Innate empathy and a genuine passion for supporting patients and families during the delicate end-of-life process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
