Southview Acres Health Care Center is recruiting for a Full time Health Information Management Director!

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain current resident medical records and files
• Maintain discharged resident medical records and files
• Manage the facilities resident release of information
• Ensure that coding is accurate and completed
• Coordinate documentation required by medical assistance for residents
• Maintain Medical Records budget
• Supervises Health Unit Coordinators

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Accredited Health Information Management Program or Graduate of Accredited Health Information Administration Program preferred.
• Experience as Health Information Management Coordinator or Records Analyst
• Experience in Long Term Care, Transitional Care or Acute Care Settings Preferred
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Prior Supervisory experience
