Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement rehabilitation programs and services in accordance with organizational goals and objectives.
- Oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, including staff management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise to ensure high-quality rehabilitation services.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs, making adjustments as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Develop and manage the department's budget, including forecasting and monitoring expenses.
- Implement utilization management strategies to optimize resource utilization and patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a rehabilitation setting.
- Strong knowledge of eClinicalWorks, Epic, or other electronic medical record systems.
- Experience managing a large team of healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of budgeting principles and financial management.
- Familiarity with medical office management and utilization management practices.
