Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The Assistant Project Manager will assist in overseeing concrete construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
• Perform quantity takeoffs and verify accuracy of estimates of concrete, rebar, and materials from estimating team
• Research and contact vendors for information related to project specifics (concrete mix designs, conveyance requirements, onsite safety training, etc.)
• Help facilitate the procurement of materials, tools, equipment and supplies
• Create field care packages
• Create purchase orders for all materials, tools, equipment and supplies
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Review daily paperwork submitted by the field and update project plans, create POs, ensure deliveries and other required tasks
• Track project progress and maintain accurate records; report on financial performance
• Prepare for all project meetings, creating and sending minutes to project team, and ensuring all tasks are completed
• Support the Project Manager in resolving any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the course of the project
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
• Previous experience working in a construction management role is highly desirable
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices
• Familiarity with construction drawings, estimating and bidding processes
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficiency in using Bluebeam or similar software for document management
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
