Job Title: Counselor - Chemical Dependency
Location: Groton, Connecticut
Hours : 8 hours/day and 40 hours/week
Shift: 40 hours GTD

REQUIREMENTS:
License and One year of experience as a Substance Abuse Counselor after graduation.
Benefits and Compensation:
OT After 40 hours per week

Personal assistance before, during, and after assignments
Assistance for medical compliance requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine the appropriate treatment plans
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions
- Utilize psychotherapy techniques to assist patients in overcoming addiction
- Implement behavior management strategies to support patients in recovery
- Offer crisis intervention and support during challenging situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Conduct research to enhance treatment methodologies
