Position Summary:
The College Preparation Math Literacy Coordinator shall have responsibility for all non-credit, college preparation math literacy programs including the New Start Math and Digital Literacy Preparation Program, GED math, and preparation for technician certification programs in multiple industries. The College Preparation Math Literacy Coordinator will also serve as the lead instructor for all non-credit college preparation math courses and coordinate part-time math instructors in these programs. The College Preparation Math Literacy Coordinator reports to the Vice President for Workforce, Economic Development, and Community Partnerships. This position is grant funded through August 31, 2025.

Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s and/or teacher certification preferred, and relevant experience coordinating and teaching literacy; strong administrative and program support skills, experience related to understanding of the unique skills and needs of the target student population.

Salary:
Salary is $51,500 per year. Full Time; 12 months per year; 35 hours per week. All positions are contingent upon adequate funding.

Conditions of Employment
This position is in SUNY Ulster’s Organization of Professional Administrative Personnel (OPAP) bargaining unit.
Offers of employment are contingent upon Board of Trustee approval. Employment with SUNY Ulster is not complete or official until applicants meet all pre-employment requirements, and the Board of Trustees has approved. All new employees are required to submit proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Employees must submit fingerprints for the New York Department of Justice clearance. All positions are contingent upon adequate funding.
