The Department of the Student Learning Center at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Oneonta invites applications for the position of Academic Coach. This is a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure position. Expectations include tutoring, teaching, and participating in the development and delivery of math, learning strategies, and study skills support; conducting academic coaching tutorials in math, study skills, time management, and independent learning strategies; tutoring students in one-on-one, group, and/or workshop formats in math; maintaining records and assisting in the planning and updating of placement policies.
The Student Learning Center provides a supportive environment that empowers students to become engaged, confident and self-aware learners who can communicate clearly and achieve their goals in college and in life.
