The Dean of Admissions serves as the senior enrollment officer for the SUNY Maritime College. The Dean develops and implements marketing and recruitment strategies to achieve enrollment goals for undergraduate and graduate students, both campus-based and online. The Dean leads the Admissions staff, in accordance with the College mission, to recruit students who will excel within and beyond our distinctively unique college environment. The Dean fosters a "recruit to retain and graduate" admission philosophy. The Dean also represents the Admissions Office to internal and external constituencies and instills confidence in the policies, practices, and procedures for recruitment and admissions.

Required Qualifications
Classification/Salary Range: This is a full-time calendar year appointment Management/Confidential unclassified position which serves at the pleasure of the appointing authority. The anticipated salary range for the position is $115,000 to $130,000 annually with an outstanding benefits package (for additional information, please see the Management Confidential Unclassified Benefits Summary. Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience. Review of applications to commence immediately and conclude when the position is filled.
Special Notes: This is a full-time calendar year appointment UUP Position. Fair Labor Standard Acts (FLSA) Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously.
