Tennis Maintenance

Job Overview

Tennis Maintenance Staff ensure the daily maintenance of the tennis courts, adjacent areas and equipment to ensure Members and Guests have an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains courts and grounds in such a way that allows Suntree Country Club to improve upon our reputation as a leading world-class tennis facility.
• Upkeep of outside court tapes, nets, net poles, grounds, fences, and gates
• Cleans court drainage gutters.
• Keeps tennis grounds neat and clean.
• Waters, rolls, brushes, and sweeps lines of clay courts and blows debris and dust from surfaces of hard courts.
• Refills court supplies such as ice, towels, and cups for Members and Guests.
• Ensures court equipment stays in good shape including tennis shoe cleaners, rollers, and line sweepers.
• Conducts self in a professional and proper manner around Members and Guests at all times.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and understand the directions of management.
• Able to work with co-workers as a team.
• Strong work ethic.

Experience

Prior Tennis Court experience desirable but willing to train the right candidate.

Knowledge / Skills

• Detail orientated.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• High energy level.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to walk / stand for up extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs or more.
• Must be able to push / pull 25 lbs.
• Occasional bending, lifting, stretching
• Ability to work in the heat, sun, or cold temperatures for prolonged intervals of time.
