DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Operating marina equipment in a safe and efficient way.
2. Launch, haul, and move boats as necessary to support boat storage operation.
3. Coordinating with Dock hands, fuel dock attendants and launch operators to ensure safe, efficient hauling, launching, and dock management.
4. Coordinate line-handling when coming to dock, anchoring, deck maintenance and safety.
5. Check equipment daily for proper fluid levels and general operation including hydraulic lines and fittings, forks, and straps condition. Report any maintenance/repair issues to management.
6. Operate equipment in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws.
7. Assist with docking the boat at the fueling station at the marina.
8. Any other duties assigned by management
OPERATING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work performed and composed of a variety of different tasks, calling for use of judgment, and compliance with policies and procedures. Must be both a team player and self-starter.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Equipment Operator experience preferred
2. Ability to complete safety training
3. Strong knowledge of boating preferred
4. Ability to work independently to achieve goals and targets
5. Ability to organize and prioritize work
6. Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, department, and corporate goals
7. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers
8. Adaptable to a fast-paced environment
9. Ability to organize and prioritize work
