Quality Assurance Summer Intern

Must be local to Yuba City and surrounding areas. Internship starting first week of June.

Hours will be Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.

At Sunsweet we take pride in delivering quality products to our customers. We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Intern to contribute to our manufacturing excellence and be part of a team committed to setting the industry standard.

As a Quality Assurance Intern in our manufacturing plant, you will collaborate with our seasoned QA team to uphold the quality of our production processes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting rigorous testing and inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
• Provide fresh insight and research of effective testing protocols.
• Participate in identifying and addressing the root causes of quality issues to enhance overall production quality.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze production requirements and participate in the creation of comprehensive test plans.
• Contribute ideas and efforts towards continuous improvement initiatives to elevate the overall quality of our manufacturing operations.

Interns must currently be attending college and preferably majoring in Food Science, Chemistry , Biology or any other Science related field.
