What will I be doing in this role?
As an Outside Sales Consultant, you will be tasked with meeting with potential Clients and conducting home sales consultations on a daily basis with warm and cold homeowner leads. You will build rapport and qualify prospects at their doorstep for a Home Energy Evaluation and Solar Consultation and then be the expert in the home providing professional energy efficiency advisement. By doing that at the highest level, you will give homeowners the power that to reduce or even eliminate their monthly electric bill, add massive value to their home, and hand-tailor an energy-efficient home environment.
We will provide bi-weekly field and classroom training and continuous support from our Management team to make sure that you have the confidence and skillset necessary to succeed in fulfilling your weekly marketing and sales quotas. You will also receive a diversified, bi-weekly compensation package which will open you up to earning between $125,000 to $145,000 performance-permitting.
Who is the ideal candidate for this role?
We are looking for someone who can:
Conduct door-to-door marketing and perform sales consultations for homeowners
Attend and participate in bi-weekly sales team training meetings
Inform homeowners at their doorstep about the volatility of their current home energy, and provide solutions in their home to give them that control back
Provide expectation-exceeding, constant customer service with potential clientele
Meet weekly and monthly Marketing and Sales KPI targets
What are the requirements for this role?
Sales Experience required (entry-level candidates will be referred to the "Appointment Setter" candidate pool)
Full-time weekly Availability (create your own schedule up to 40 hours weekly)
Strong communication and negotiation skills (bilingual is a plus!)
Must be confident in working in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
Must have valid driver's license and complete standard Background Check, if applicable
