LEAD SOLAR INSTALLER NEEDED:
Sunshine Solar, a local installation company with decades of experience and 1000's of installs is looking for an experienced solar installer, ideally holding an LRT or Journeyman OR license, to lead crews on daily installs in the Rogue Valley. As a lead, you have been leading installation teams for at least 2 years, managed employees through a variety of circumstances and weathered the storm on all fronts. We install grid tied systems (Enphase) and Off-grid too (Sol Ark) battery back up and true knowledge and experience in these realms is a must.
As a solar installer you value and service your customers. You are critical in helping families make the switch quickly and efficiently to solar. Responsibilities:
Responsible for the installation of photovoltaic systems, years of Solar, Roofing and/or construction experience and managing a crew efficiently.
Layout of roof/ racking systems to support the solar modules. Run conduit, pull wire and trunk cabling/ wire J-boxes.
Manage crew on-site and maintain a well-organized and safe work environment.
Attention to detail when completing tasks.
Assist with setup and tear down of job sites.
Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety procedures & policies.
Participate in and coordinate clean job site.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
Working at heights, ladder safety and harness work.
Ability to safely lift and carry 50lbs and over on a frequent and repetitive basis.
Previous experience and knowledge of solar PV (AC and DC systems) is necessary.
Driving company vehicle responsibly and safely.
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to take direction and follow instructions
Work comfortably on construction sites in various weather conditions and environments.
Must have a valid and clean Driver’s License and reliable method of transportation.
