Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee our operations. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our business, including staff supervision, financial management, and customer satisfaction.

• Duties:
• - Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives
• - Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure efficient workflow
• - Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• - Work closely with Sales Manager, Lab Manager, Greenhouse Manager, & Onsite Administration
• - Monitor financial performance and prepare budgets and cost analyses
• - Plan and oversee capital projects
• - Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• - Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors
• - Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• - Implement effective marketing strategies to attract new customers
• - Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• - Order tissue culture micros from offshore lab suppliers
• - Attend the three plant shows that the Company has a booth in every year
• Skills:
• - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• - Proficient in data collection and analysis- Knowledge of hand tools and mechanical equipment
• - Familiarity with irrigation systems, gardening, greenhouse operations, and farming practices
• - Basic math and Excel skills for budgeting and financial analysis
• - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• We offer competitive compensation based on experience. A minimum of 5 years of working experience in Horticulture is required. Must have Certified Pesticide Applicator License in the state of Florida.
