Company Overview : Our client is looking for a housing program specialist with construction expertise, project management skills, and inspection experience.

With a valid driver's license and reliable transport are essential.

Position Summary : The ideal candidate should have construction knowledge, inspection skills, project management experience, and effective communication.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct regular on-site inspections of housing rehabilitation and construction projects to assess progress and quality of work.
• Evaluate ongoing work to determine if it aligns with the approved scope of work.
• Identify any deviations or discrepancies and provide recommendations for corrective action.
• Capture clear and detailed photographs of work progress, completed tasks, and any issues or concerns observed during inspections.
• Maintain organized and accessible photo records for project documentation.
• Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports outlining findings, observations, and recommendations.
• Provide updates to the Interim Housing Manager on project status, issues, and resolutions.
• Verify the use of approved materials and construction methods.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction inspection, project management, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and regulations required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Necessary Attributes :

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using construction inspection tools and equipment.
• Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
