Position: Veterinary Assistant

Job Description:

Our clinic is currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team. We operate in a general practice setting that focuses on holistic medicine, providing a unique approach to animal healthcare. While prior experience in veterinary care is preferred, we are open to training individuals who are enthusiastic about working with animals and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting veterinarians during examinations and procedures

- Providing compassionate care and handling to animals

- Administering medications and treatments as directed

- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the clinic

- Educating pet owners on proper animal care and wellness practices

Key Requirements:

- Previous experience in veterinary care is preferred

- Knowledge or interest in holistic medicine is a plus

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to thrive in a drama-free work environment

- Willingness to adapt and learn in a dynamic setting

Schedule:

- No weekend shifts required, offering a healthy work-life balance

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
