Inventory Coordinator
- Responsible for store-level analysis of inventory performance, sharing awareness and reinforcement of inventory best practices
- Make timely and accurate inventory adjustments
- Monitor shrinkage and recommend ways to reduce theft and breakage in the store
- Assist in identifying obsolete inventory and assist store management the best method to sell, clearance or liquidate
- Train store staff on inventory management best practices
- Minimum of two years of inventory control experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to use computer and related software, RF guns and Computer and spreadsheet as well as other business tools
- Ability to train other members of the staff to keep inventory accurate.
- Possess analytical abilities needed to investigate/audit and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Knowledge and experience of all categories and product lines within all departments
- Experience with purchasing & inventory systems
- Ability to develop and maintain client relationships within and throughout the organization including suppliers, associates, management staff, support office, and vendors
- Ability to exert moderate, though not constant, physical effort - typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Requires the ability to reach, bend, balance, lift and transport various objects weighing up to 40 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Requires the ability to move heavier objects with assistance.
