Sunset Ford St. Louis is Hiring an Automotive Title Clerk Near St. Louis, MO

AutomotiveTitle Clerk Responsibilities

  • Record vehicle transactions to accounting.
  • Prepares tax and title documents for all vehicle sales.
  • Process and record liens as required by state jurisdictions.
  • Reconcile Dealer Reserve statement, accounting schedules and product submissions.
  • Record purchased vehicles to various inventories.
  • Prepare paperwork for lenders to obtain funding
  • Process payments to floor plan institutions
  • Prepare payoff checks for trade-ins.
  • Secure titles for all trades with correct documentation for next sale
  • Process after sale warranties and related documents
  • Maintaining strict compliance with all Titling laws and filing requirements
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Other duties as assigned

Automotive Title Clerk Qualifications

  • 2 years of Automotive Titling experience required
  • Prior dealership experience is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in accounting as well as Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • A self-starter and the ability to multi-task
  • Willing to submit a background check
  • Title clerk, billing clerk, automotive biller
