We are currently hiring for a Maintenance person to oversee the general maintenance of a 2-person apartment community located on the North Hills area. We are looking for a hands-on person who enjoys helping residents, working as a team member and someone who comes to work with a smile on their face and a can-do attitude! This is a great opportunity to "be your own boss" and work alongside our Lead Maintenance.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Troubleshoot and perform necessary repairs of the apartments including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electrical.
-Turn units that become vacant for new prospects to move in. (To include maintenance of unit, paint, get apartment ready again for new tenant).
-Ensure resident service requests are completed on a timely basis.
-Maintain the exterior of the property to provide clean and nice curb appeal.
-Comply with all OSHA regulations and health, safety and environmental laws.
Qualifications:
-A minimum of 1 year of apartment maintenance experience.
-Knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems.
-Excellent verbal communication skills.
-Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines.
-Able to be on-call every other week for after-hours emergencies.
