Barista Staff– Eastside Pub

Sunriver Brewing Company is a family-owned business founded in Central Oregon in 2012. Almost 300 team members represent three pubs and a brewery located in Central Oregon with an additional pub in Eugene. We are dedicated to awesome craft beer, delicious food, and engaging service. We're looking for a Host/Busser to join our team and operations at our Eastside Pub in Bend.

Barista Staff - Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks with precision and care. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about coffee, has excellent customer service skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Barista Staff - Major Areas of Responsibility:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso drinks according to our recipes and standards.
• Provide friendly and attentive customer service, engaging with guests to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and service areas.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, handling transactions with professionalism.
• Demonstrate knowledge of our coffee offerings, including origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Contribute to a positive team environment, collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.

Barista Staff - Job Requirements & Skills:

• Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Eye for details.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs. or more.
• Willing to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Availability to work evenings and on weekends, including holidays.
