The Executive Communications Director will support communications initiatives - internal and external - on behalf of Stand Together's executives. Partnering with the reputation team, the Communications Director will craft messages and written products that communicate the impact of Stand Together partners through compelling storytelling.
To succeed in this role, the candidate will have a passion for Stand Together's vision and principles, proven success in executive communications, multimedia communications strategy, creative content development, and fostering multiple stakeholder relationships across a complex organization. Media relations and event planning experience is a plus.
Your Responsibilities Include

• Contribute to the development of Stand Together's executive positioning strategies.
• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders on the crafting of messaging, social media content, op-eds, statements, and briefing documents for executives that align with brand reputation strategies.
• Prepare executives for events and media engagements, ensuring key messages ladder up to Stand Together community priority initiatives and brand strategies.
• Craft and disseminate weekly updates for the communications department and multiple high-profile stakeholders including the CEO and advisory board.
• Support amplification opportunities for major communications campaigns and initiatives.
• Manage planning and logistics for off-record media "salon" dinners with CEO and other executives.

Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

• 7 years of experience in executive communications, corporate communications, or public relations.
• Must be a strategic thinker with experience building and leveraging relationships.
• Media relations and event planning experience is a plus.
• Ability to cultivate strong collaborative relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including senior leaders.
• Experience navigating and influencing outcomes within a highly-matrixed organization.
• Ability to think ahead, problem solve, engage proactively, and take initiative.
• Excellent persuasive writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
