About this role:

The Regional Real Estate Manager works in a growing, fast-paced environment; with innovative, motivated and team-oriented colleagues. They are responsible for the supervision and financial operations of multiple properties within their assigned portfolio. The Regional Team works closely with on-site associates to ensure the development of the team, implementation and execution of the business plan for each community and adherence to all corporate policies and procedures. They foster critical relationships with each of their clients, through trust and by inspiring confidence. 

Summary:

The Regional Real Estate Manager is responsible for the supervision of the operation of multiple properties in a portfolio assigned to him or her. This requires on-going successful communication with existing and potential clients, the supervision of multiple sites and diverse personnel, fiscal oversight including income maximization and expense control, preparing and executing marketing plans, preparing budgets and monthly financial analysis, and operation of investment properties to meet our clients' real estate investment goals.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead your team; ensure processes & support are consistent with policies & procedures
  • Understand and meet fiduciary client obligations and other obligations set out in management agreements 
  • Inspire and maintain client confidence
  • Ensure timely and accurate periodic reporting (monthly financials, weekly reports, etc.) per clients’ reasonable expectation
  • Ensure that property appearance and curb appeal is consistent with company standards
  • Manage, review, propose to client and approve vendor contracts 
  • Coach, mentor, and lead on-site teams
  • See that regular staff meetings are being held on-site; including safety and training 
  • Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to drive team and property performance in accordance with company standards
  • Comply with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations in property operations
  • Oversee the successful Onboarding and Offboarding of assets 
What you’ll need:
  • A minimum of one-year multi-site portfolio management experience managing Class A multifamily assets
  • Lease up experience strongly preferred
  • Reliable transportation available, valid driver license and automobile insurance, as travel to properties and meetings will be required
  • A strong financial acumen
  • Experience with Property Management Software (RealPage, YARDI, Entrata, AppFolio, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Rent Optimization systems (YieldStar, LRO) is a plus
  • Professional Real Estate Management Credentials (CPM, ARM, etc.) is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus
Other Requirements:
  • Incumbent must have reliable transportation available and have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance, as travel to the bank and meetings will be required.
