Job Summary and Qualifications

The Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Technician assumes responsibility for providing clinical diagnostic testing services to patients ranging in age neonatal to geriatric.

• He/she adheres to policy and procedure in the assessment, implementation, and reporting of the diagnostic services provided
• He/she must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served in his/her department
• He/she must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective pf the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his or her age specific needs, and provide the care as needed as described in the departments policies and procedures

What qualifications you will need:

• High school graduate
• Completion of Electroneurodiagnostic training course or six months on-the-job-training experience
• Current BLS
• Registry or registry eligible in END Technology (REEGT, RPSGT) preferred but not required
• Prefer six months to one-year experience in electroneurodiagnostics or related field. Will consider recent graduate from END course
• Basic computer knowledge/competency
