Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, perform administrative tasks, and ensure excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
- Take and record patients' medical histories and vital signs
- Provide post-operative instructions prescribed by the dentist
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Perform dental receptionist duties as required
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices

Requirements:

- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
- X-ray certification preferred
- Proficiency in Dentrix or Eaglesoft software
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques
- Ability to maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique
- Experience with managing medical records in a dental setting
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus

Pay: $20.50 - $24.69 per hour
