At Sunrise Community Farm Center, our small animals play a big role by giving campers and community members the opportunity to learn the skill of animal communication with all sorts of cute, fuzzy, scaly, or shy animals. We work alongside chickens, geese, turkeys, guinea pigs, rabbits, goats, and pigs to teach about caring for animals and exploring the CRAFTS of Partnership. We are seeking a motivated young person who is looking for experience with animals AND kiddos. We are looking for someone who is motivated and will stick to an organized schedule for feeding, watering, cleaning, and all around caring for our animals. Experience is desired but a hard work ethic and willingness to learn will be considered as well. Our current animal caretaker drives one of our afterschool vans on three afternoons per week to pick up kids at school and bring them to the farm. We are looking for someone with flexibility to do this as well.

We close on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Day, and 4th of July. However, animals require care every day. Must be willing to share animal care duties on some holidays.
Bonus: There are on-site living quarters available in exchange for work hours.
