Vivo HealthStaff has been retained by a large established geriatric healthcare organization in San Francisco to find Public Health Outreach Registered Nurses. The Public Health Outreach RN coordinates outreach events and health screenings, providing up-to-date education and information on services and programs to community members and partners. 1. Conduct health screenings with the partnership of other healthcare organizations. 2. Provides health education to community groups focused on geriatric care, prevention of communicable diseases and general healthcare advice. 3. Actively develops health education materials and curriculum for use in the community and within the organization. 4. Coordinates health presentations to various community organizations, and healthcare groups. Requirements:
ADN, BSN, or MSN in Nursing
Active and unrestricted California Nursing License
Minimum of 2 years working with the frail or underserved population
At least 2 years working as a Community or Public Health RN
Valid CA Drivers License
Preferred:
Public Health Nurse Certification
Masters Degree in Nursing
Additional Language Skill (Cantonese, Mandarin, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Spanish)
