Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Adult Day Care Aide to join our team. As a Daycare Aide, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for elderly adults . If you have a passion for working with the elderly and speak fluent Chinese and English, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Translate for some of our Chinese speaking participants

-Work with kitchen staff to pass out appropriate meals to each participant

-Provide aid and translation with work out / physical classes during the day.

-Provide aid and translation to other employees at the center.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for elderly in your care
- Supervise and engage in educational and recreational activities
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all participants at all times
- Follow all daycare policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, and hygiene
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Experience:
- Previous experience working in an adult day health care is preferred
- Strong Chinese / Engliish communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with elderly participants on an individual level

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
