Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Madison, SD - 57042 (100% Onsite)

Duration: 4-6 months contract (Potential to extend)

Note: The candidate should be fine to work onsite from day one.

Job description:

Our Client is looking for some help from a Quality Engineer. Looking for someone to help with some metrology work, measuring parts/fixtures in weld department, make improvements to the tooling (which crosses over a little into manufacturing engineer role).

Could help do some inspection/fabrication work too (help operators with their process, ensure they're doing their correct checks and that good parts are coming out of fabrication).

They've had a lot of turnover in their manufacturing engineering department, which has led to shuffling of their current resources and a backlog of work. They started working on a new product in November, and they're starting to see now where gaps lie/what they can do better to get better products.

Must Skills:

• Quality Engineer
• Welding / Metals
• Metrology is a strong plus
• Polyworks is the measuring tool they use. Plus if they have it.
