POSITION SUMMARY
Repairs and maintains machinery and equipment in the stores and offices by performing the following duties using tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, drills, wrenches, saws, refrigeration test tools, electrical meters, HVAC testing equipment, ladders, etc.

Certificates & Licenses:
Valid Driver’s License
HVAC and EPA certified
Certification from an accredited Trade School or College. Must be CFC certified minimal Type II, preferably Universal, if applicable.
Other Requirements:
A satisfactory driving record required
Ability to drive a service vehicle safely
Willing and able to travel long distances as part of the primary supervisory responsibility
Skills:
• Ability to lead team and train other technicians.
• Must possess good electrical, mechanical, diagnostic and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and equipment schematics.
• Ability to use digital multi-meter to perform troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform the four basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiple, divide).
• Ability to work with various hand and power tools.
• Ability to interact with store personnel, customers, and management in a professional courteous manner.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and procedures manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to work flexible hours such as weekends, on-call, evenings and holidays.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jacks with proper training.
• Basic computer skills

The employee is occasionally required to sit and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, bend, twist and climb ladder and work at heights of above eight (8) feet. The employee will handle liquids, plastic, glass, paper, rubber, petroleum products and may work in conditions that may contain hydrocarbons.
