The Loan Clerk will facilitate the processing of member loan inquires and requests. Give clerical and administrative support to process and maintain member loans.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Excellent member service.
• Quotes rates and terms for loans.
• Compiles complete loan applications, documents, etc. and underwriting worksheet and passes it on to a loan officer for final approval.
• Process approvals, counter offers or adverse actions as appropriate.
• Discloses, documents, and boards loans.
• Cross-sell other Credit Union services and products as appropriate.
• Close loans / disperse funds / set up repayment arrangements etc.
• Promptly review loan files, as received from the loan officers/manager for completeness, accuracy, and orderly arrangement, and all items on the loan file checklist have been completed before they are filed.
• Promptly file releases and mail released titles to members, use the monthly paid-off loans report as a final checklist.
• May be cross-trained and work as a Customer Service Rep, Teller, Collections or Processor as needed.
• Be responsible for the opening and servicing of share accounts.
• Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws.
• Must complete assigned training courses.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School Diploma, as a minimum.
• Calculator, computer and typing skills.
• Neat Professional appearance.
• Member Service experience and skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Organized and Detailed work ethic.

Additional Notes
On the job training will be provided for SFCU-specific policies and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
