Sunflower is seeking licensed or unlicensed individuals with residential plumbing experience. The responsibilities of a Plumbing Technician include assembling pipes, diagnosing plumbing issues and communicating solutions to customers, handling tools, and cleaning job sites. The Plumbing Technician can expect to assist in complex jobs and handle smaller jobs on their own.
Major duties:
- Locating and identifying leaks.
- Repairing or replacing pipes and operating a sewer snake through mainlines.
- Determining the right tools and equipment necessary to successfully complete a job.
- Preparing cost estimates for clients.
- Ensure that all work is in accordance with federal, state, and local plumbing codes.
- Cleaning the job site after the work is completed.
- Answering client questions.
- Following instructions.
- Valid Driver's License.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to learn on the job, go through training and progress qualifications as a Plumber.
- Adept at using the basic tools of the trade.
- Manual dexterity.
