This position will supervise a critical aspect of Sunflower's generation system: mechanical maintenance. Sunflower Electric Power Corporation, a generation and transmission utility is seeking an individual to fill the Mechanical Supervisor role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a variety of talented personnel in mechanical maintenance as well as several other departments at our Holcomb Station. You'll use your planning ability to prepare for outages, coordinate work requests/orders, and explore preventive and predictive technology programs to improve efficiency and machinery health.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma and five years practical heavy industrial mechanical maintenance experience and coal-fired power plant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Supervisory, leadership, and coaching skills and abilities.
