Position Description

This position is vital to the development and close working relationships to bridge the Channel Partner network with each of the Sundyne business units, outside sales and applications teams. It will require a growth mindset and ingenuity to drive the company initiatives and sales performance for the base business and value growth initiatives. Focus of this role will be to drive channel growth for both new unit (OE) and aftermarket products and services.

Success will be defined by:

The ability to manage all Channels and ensure their objectives are annually defined and held in accordance to drive organic growth. Hold channel partners and regional sales managers accountable to deliver monthly and quarterly reviews to ensure that each region is delivering their targets. Develop and maintain a channel program capable of exiting and onboarding a new channel quickly.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own and drive a channel management program that holds accountability with both the partners and Sundyne sales teams.
  • Work in close partnership with each of the global operating units, regional sales managers and product line managers to ensure that each channel's sales team are fully capable of selling the entire suite of Sundyne products.
  • Develop a channel program that has Sundyne top of mind for channels and hold them accountable.
  • Drive the annual Tier program which includes:
    • Monthly business reviews
    • Channel best practice distribution
    • Quarterly booking reviews and possible Tier resets based on bi-annual performance
    • Annual channel performance reviews against their targets and initiatives in which to define following year Tier rating updates
  • Deliver quarterly updates from the Distributor Advisory Board prioritization and drive the Sundyne team to complete and conclude defined actions.
  • Develop a network of third-party channel management companies that pre-emptively assist in finding local channels to replace non-performers.
  • Work closely with Sundyne's training manager to ensure that the Channels sales teams are capable of selling existing and new products.

Qualifications Required

  • Proven track record in sales, business development or sales planning role.
  • A strong drive to achieve results and high level of focusing on sales strategy.
  • Comfortable interacting with any level of an organization.
  • Able to motivate, multi-task and work in a matrix organization to hold both external and internal resources accountable.
  • Ability to work with a matrixed organization in which drive data and business performance metrics through the channel network and sales organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel (minimum of 20-30% travel).
  • Bold and comfortable taking managed risks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing or engaged with a global channel program having a mix of Representatives, Distributors and Area Services Centers.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing channels with a robust opportunity tracking and pursuit process.

Desired Credentials:

  • BS degree in related field and direct sales experience.
  • Experience with rotating equipment and aftermarket spares and repairs.
  • Completion of advanced sales training courses.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and forecasting.

Compensation Details

Annual Salary: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00

Additional Compensation

The Salary offered will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and will be compared with internal equity along with market data for this position. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus through the company bonus program. This position may also be eligible to receive a Relocation bonus, payable as a taxable lump sum, in accordance with the Sundyne Relocation Policy.
