Details

The Director of Education (RN) works under the DCS to provide education and leadership to the hospice Registered Nurses. The Director of Education establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for hospice services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy. The duties include but are not limited to:

• Implement policies, procedures, and best practices for operations.
• continuing education for our nursing staff including auditing of documentation and annual competencies 
• Support, build, and sustain a diverse team of talent who successfully and consistently deliver on objectives and goals.
• A dynamic leader who sets a high bar and inspires others to reach it.
• Ability to communicate clearly, and establish and maintain effective relationships with team members to problem-solve educationally and cooperatively.

Qualifications

• A strong leader with impeccable organizational, strategic, analytical and project management skills.
• A solid communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others.
• Hospice experience strongly preferred 
• 2 years of experience working in Leadership
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (in good standing)
