**Shift Supervisor**

**LOCATION:** Commerce City , Colorado (US-CO)

**JOB NUMBER:** 59923 * Work with supporting personnel to achieve optimal production and profitability of asset performance

* Lead daily safety/environmental meetings with shift team as well as discuss any incident reports (IR) that may have been filed

* Lead daily operational meetings to discuss planned action items and mechanical jobs schedules to determine potential obstacles with a focus on resolution

* Ensure equipment is prepared for mechanical work

* Approve or reject Operators pay in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and follow up with Ops and payroll to coach them on amendments

* Coach and develop personnel on application and use of Refinery Safe Work Practices and Procedures

* Resolve verbal grievances related to CBA and determine if the grievance needs to be escalated to the written stage

* Coach and discipline employees who are not abiding by our standards of conduct

* Screen notifications for accuracy and ensure proper information is provided so that the CFT group can prioritize work schedules

* Manage emergency situations as the Incident commander or assume the responsibility of non-emergency accountabilities

* Lead incident investigations, enter reports into Enablon, and complete follow-up actions to improve future performance and prevent repeat occurrences

* 10 years of relevant experience in unit operation, or an equivalent combination of education and refinery and/or industrial operations experience

* A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and influence others

* Strong problem-solving skills

* Knowledge of pipeline and product transportation facilities at a refinery

* Knowledge of refinery operation and maintenance functions

* Experience with process business workflows in SAP, KMS, OLT and Enablon software applications
