Unit Description: The Progressive Care Unit atZentech Health is a dynamic 44-bed facility dedicated to providingintermediate-level inpatient care for adult and geriatric patients. All ourbeds are equipped with telemetry capabilities, ensuring continuous monitoring,unless otherwise specified by the attending physician. We have established comprehensivemechanisms to oversee patient care during transport and procedures in ancillarydepartments. Additionally, two negative pressure rooms are available toaccommodate patients requiring respiratory isolation. Our PCU is uniquelydesigned to cater to patients who do not necessitate the intensive monitoringfound in critical care units but demand a higher level of supervision comparedto medical-surgical units.
Position Summary: As a Progressive Care UnitRegistered Nurse at Zentech Health, you will be responsible for providingtop-tier nursing care to our patients, guided by the nursing process. Your rolewill involve close collaboration with a diverse healthcare team, includingphysicians, to ensure the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Requirements
Education:
- Florida RN license and/or approved multi-state RN license required
- BLS – AHA Healthcare Provider
- ACLS - required
- Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN required
Experience:
- 1-3 years of acute care experience is preferred
- MUST HAVE at least 1-year short-term or long-term acute care exp.
- Must be willing to care for COVID patients
