Requirements

Duties and Standards to Measure Workmanship and Quality:

Position is Non-Exempt as defined in Employee Handbook.

Responsible for understanding operations of all machinery and coordinating all maintenance and repair of machinery.

Ability to perform and train all maintenance personnel in function of automated machinery.

Department is expected to be the first responders on any machine issues.

Coordinate and prioritize functions requiring R&D involvement with management.

Ensure trouble shooting database is maintained. Coordinate with all internal personnel and outside contractors all maintenance/repair/construction of facility.

Must be able to perform all duties of Facility Maintenance Technician 1 and Facility Maintenance Technician 2 positions and conform to standards to ensure safety and quality.

Perform Facility Maintenance Technician 1 and 2 duties when necessary, in conjunction with Coordinator tasks.

Must be capable of working varies shifts/hours to ensure all shift employees are properly trained and perform project work.

Demonstrates strong work ethic and adherence to company polices.

Ability to effectively utilize and explain to employee’s department processes, policies, procedures and QMS database.

Provides feedback on employee performance, policy compliance, personnel issues and process adherence to Plant Manager but does not perform supervisory duties involving reviews, discipline, etc.

Assigns tasks to personnel within department and maintains continual communication with other departments, shifts and coordinators/Floor Manager(s) to minimize downtime as well as achieve safety and quality expectations.

Utilizes software systems to track repairs of resources and report department performance to Plant Manager.

Actively participates in assisting the company to meet continual improvement and QMS objectives.

Completes assigned projects in a timely manner.

Responsible for coordinating work assignments within department and ensuring that all shifts are prepared to effectively perform assigned tasks while working efficiently with work assignments prioritized.

Actively participates in controlling maintenance inventory to ensure adequate supplies are maintained.

Ensures all work in process is properly identified.

Responsible for the overall appearances of department.

Reports safety related discrepancies and/or conditions for review and resolution; material shortages, out of spec conditions, tooling problems, equipment failures, etc. to appropriate Manager.
