Tech I-Container Assembly and Repair

Responsible for performing repairs on company branded containers as assigned. Repairs will be performed at Storage Center locations as well as drop lots as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform assembly-type functions using hand and/or power tools (without supervision)
• Move materials using hand cart and or pallet jack
• Basic computer skills
• Pressure washing
• Shop clean up
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years in a related field
• Possess a current valid drivers license with clean driving record
• Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day; ability to stoop, bend and lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk, drive and stand, crouch, kneel, crawl for extended periods of time during assigned shift;
• Ability to hear and verbally communicate using a telephone handset and/or connected headset device
• Shift start times may vary; Some additional hours may be required including Saturdays/Sundays; Required to work overtime as needed.
• Warehouse locations may not be climate controlled except for specific areas. May be expected to work during inclement weather conditions.
