POSITION TITLE: CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE

FLSA: NON-EXEMPT

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• High School Diploma / GED.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred
• Self-motivated and positive attitude
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Computer literate
• Fluent understanding, speaking, and writing in Creole, required

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Give appointments by phone and update/enter patient demographics
• Cancel and reschedule booked appointments.
• Place outbound calls to no-show patients for a new appointment.
• Resolve issues on eMessenger; failed call report.
• Process all patient transfer requests
• Provide general information to patients regarding services, insurance accepted and sliding fee qualification
• Screen all dental calls and transfer them to the appropriate site
• Outreach to patients to schedule hospital, lab and various other follow-up appointments
• Other duties as assigned.
