Job Summary
An Integrated Pest Management (IPM) technician in agriculture is responsible for implementing and monitoring pest control strategies that minimize the use of chemical pesticides and promote sustainable farming practices. Overall, an IPM technician plays a crucial role in helping reducing pest and pathogens while keeping sustainability of agricultural production in mind and actions.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Work is performed in a greenhouse environment and requires the ability to stand for long periods, in temperatures 80 degrees and to operate application equipment while in a Tyvek suit. Prolonged periods of standing and bending and kneeling to obtain an even distribution of applications. Employees should be able to lift 45 lbs. consistently and 70 lbs. occasionally.
