Principal - SunBridge SchoolsPurpose: The Principal at SunBridge Schools is to assist the board, administration and school community in coordination, leadership, supervision, and management of the school programs and operations.CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTResearches (including attending meetings and training to obtain) a variety of information for the purpose of providing department leadership, implementing best practices, improving existing programs and/or developing new programs.Assists in the development of proposals, new programs, budget and grants for the purpose of meeting district goals and federal and state mandates.INSTRUCTIONImplements assigned programs and/or projects for the purpose of conforming to district and state curriculum and mandates and/or instructional objectives.Facilitate teachers to prepare for state assessmentsAssist with creation and implementation of the school scheduleSCHOOL OPERATIONS, RESOURCES, and LEARNING ENVIRONMENTReview data reports regarding assessments as neededPerforms observations of teachers and staff Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the school’s RTI process. COLLABORATIONCollaborates with school personnel and outside agencies for the purpose of implementing and maintaining services and/or programsPerforms other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit. PARENT and COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENTAssists the Director of Student Affairs and community agencies providing services to students and notify parents and students of available services. Use appropriate and effective techniques to encourage community and parent involvement. Coordinates contracted services for the purpose of delivering services in compliance with established guidelines.
