Patient Monitoring: Utilize telemetry equipment to continuously monitor patients' cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and oxygen saturation levels. Recognize and promptly intervene in response to changes or abnormalities in telemetry data.

Assessment and Documentation: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' cardiac status, including reviewing medical histories, evaluating symptoms, and performing physical examinations. Document assessment findings, telemetry readings, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner.

Critical Thinking and Decision-Making: Apply critical thinking skills to interpret telemetry data, identify trends or patterns indicative of cardiac arrhythmias or other abnormalities, and prioritize interventions accordingly. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.

Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of employment. Additional certification in telemetry nursing or cardiac nursing is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience, with specific experience in telemetry monitoring or cardiac care preferred. Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms, recognizing arrhythmias, and responding to cardiac emergencies is required.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification: Current certification in ACLS is required, with additional certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
