Sunbelt Staffing is searching for a passionate Travel ER RN to join our team in growing Newark, NY! This exciting night shift position offers the perfect blend of challenge and reward. You'll play a vital role in providing critical care to patients in a fast-paced emergency room environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and triage patients upon arrival, providing immediate care and initiating appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform various procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Respond to emergency situations, including traumas and other critical incidents, utilizing your TNCC certification and trauma experience.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, providing clear explanations and support throughout the treatment process.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of two years of recent, related experience as an ER RN.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend requirement.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification is required.
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to provide prompt and accurate patient care in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients, families, and team members.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; PALS certification is preferred.
