Procedure Assistance:

• Assist physicians and healthcare professionals during cardiac catheterization procedures, angioplasty, stent placement, and other interventional and diagnostic procedures.
• Operate and maintain specialized catheterization equipment, ensuring its proper functionality.

Patient Care:

• Prepare and position patients for catheterization procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes during the procedure.

Equipment Operation:

• Set up and operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and angiography systems, to visualize and record images of the heart and vascular system.
• Troubleshoot and address any technical issues with equipment during procedures.

Education:

• Associate degree or certificate in Cardiovascular Technology or a related field.

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Cath Lab Technologist is preferred.

Certifications:

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT) certification is highly desirable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
