Job Title: School Social Worker

Location: Near Brighton, MI

Position Overview: As a School Social Worker, you'll support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Collaborating with educators, administrators, families, and community resources, you'll assess, advocate for, and implement interventions to boost students' well-being and academic success.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families.
• Connect students and families with community resources.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records.
• Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work.
• Valid School Social Worker certification in Michigan.
• Experience in educational settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathy, patience, and dedication to student well-being.
• Knowledge of evidence-based interventions.
