Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Virtual Teacher to provide instruction and support to visually impaired students for a school district in West Virginia. As a Virtual Teacher for the Visually Impaired, you will work remotely, utilizing our cutting-edge platform to deliver personalized education tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for visually impaired students.
• Deliver engaging and accessible lessons using adaptive technologies and resources.
• Utilize assistive technologies and accommodations to support students in accessing curriculum materials.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other members of the student's educational team to ensure consistent support and progress monitoring.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and communication.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid teaching certification/licensure in West Virginia
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with visually impaired students in an educational setting.
• Virtual experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and access to necessary technology for remote teaching.
• Must pass a VocoVision technical screening (showing knowledge of the platform Zoom)
