Full-time Sign Language Interpreter For High School Student
Our district in the Norman, OK area is actively looking to hire a Sign Language Interpreter for the school year. In this role you would provide support for a High School student. Job Type:

• Hours: 8:00am-3:00pm daily, Monday-Friday; Must report when student is in session
• ASAP - June, 2024

Student Details:

• Uses two cochlear implants and assistive technology
• Audiometric testing indicates mild to moderately-severe sloping sensorineural hearing loss
• Uses total communication (sim-com) and has expressive/receptive language delay, articulation disorder, and difficulty in reading

Requirements:

• Certification: Must have an EIPA score of 3.5 or QAST level 3 for educational interpreting
Pay Range: $27 - $30 per hour
