Full-time School Psychologist Needed in Peabody, MA - K-8

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a full-time School Psychologist to join a school district near Peabody, MA. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven individual to work with K-8 students and provide comprehensive psychological services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students referred for special education services (50-75 evaluations annually)
• Consult with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to develop effective interventions and strategies to support students' academic, social, and emotional development
• Participate in eligibility determination meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
• Observe and assess students in various settings, such as classrooms, lunchrooms, and playgrounds

Requirements:

• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
• Active School Psychologist certification in Massachusetts
• Experience working in a school setting, preferably with K-8 students
• Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
