Education:

• Associate's degree or higher in Cardiovascular Technology or a related field.
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent.

Experience:

• Prior experience as a Cath Lab Technologist is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating cath lab equipment and familiarity with catheterization procedures.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and procedures.

Procedure Assistance:

• Assist physicians and healthcare providers during cardiac catheterization procedures, angioplasty, stent placements, and other cardiovascular interventions.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring proper monitoring and sterile field maintenance.

Equipment Operation:

• Operate and troubleshoot complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and other specialized devices used in cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Ensure the proper functioning and calibration of equipment before and after procedures.

Patient Care:

• Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their condition before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding the catheterization process and aftercare.
